PAB Access Information

How to get access to PAB (it's not easy...)

Please know that all summer hires, temporary employees and the like are required to provide Dorrene Ross with a copy of their completion of the General Safety Training. A SU SuNet ID is required. The course is taken on-line and at the end of the training a certificate should be printed out as evidence of completion.

Registration for the class is through Stanford AXESS. The course is "General Safety & Emergency Preparedness", EHS-4200-WEB. This training should be completed before the individual begins work. Supervisors or faculty are responsible for identifying and ensuing completion of specialized training such as laser safety, chemical handling, etc.

See Dorrene Ross or Dee Taumalolo for building access. All Stanford IDs must be the new type which have the prox chip imbedded in the card. One way to tell if you have the right type of ID card is to check for a series of numbers on the lower right hand corner located on the back of your ID. If you do not find these numbers, your card can be replaced with a new ID without charge. The ID unit is located in the Maude Trailer on Serra, across the street from 651 Serra.

Responsible supervisors or faculty need to identify access needs for all students, summer interns, temporary hires and to provide this information to Dorrene Ross in room 104. There is a deposit for keys and temporary access cards. Keys are $5 and cards are $15. All money is returned with the return of the key or card.
