Insights on Relativistic Jets from Faraday Rotation

Abstract

Multi-frequency polarization observations with the Very Long Baseline Array provide a useful probe of the intrinsically polarized relativistic jets in AGN. I will present results of a Faraday rotation measure survey of AGN, and in particular discuss the evidence for a helical magnetic field revealed through Faraday Rotation measure gradients.
