The Dark Energy Task Force was a body which decided which of five spaced-based projects would receive NASA funding as the next major space mission. There were proposals for gravitational wave observation, x-ray observation, big bang observation via the CMB, black hole observation via hard x-rays and supernova observation (the eventual winner). All of these projects may prove to be important future experiments. We will discuss how each could add to our knowledge of astrophysics and cosmology.
