General Info

The purpose of the HelioMagnetism Workshops is to gather solar, heliospheric and high energy astrophysicists as well as others involved in MHD simulations, to discuss what solar and heliospheric observations are telling us about magnetic behavior in general.

During each one-day meeting (organized every two-three months) several longer talks are given that are supposed to evolve into general discussions. The invited speakers are mainly from Stanford University, Lockheed Martin Solar & Astrophysics Laboratory, and University California-Berkeley, but also from the other institutes within and outside the country. Anyone interested in attending the workshops is welcome and encouraged to participate in the discussions.

All the meetings are expected to take place on the Stanford Campus in the Physics/Astrophysics Building, Conference Room 102/103.
Looking forward to seeing you there during the next HelioMagnetism Workshop!
Roger Blandford, Vahe Petrosian, and Lukasz Stawarz
