DES Year 1 Results: Expectations vs Reality
SLAC, Kavli 3rd Floor Conf. Room
I will outline the process we went through in DES to develop and implement (from producing catalogs to writing the papers) a combined '3x2pt' analysis of weak lensing and galaxy clustering with our first year data set. The expectation of how this would happen two years ago and the reality provide a series of lessons for planning future analyses and organizing work in large collaborations.
