KIPAC Hack Day

May 29, 2019 - 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Location

Campus, PAB 102/103 from 9 - 11 a.m. PAB 232 and 241 for breakout rooms 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.

This goal of this hack day to try and develop collaborative projects between members of KIPAC. The idea for it originated at a recent postdoc lunch, as a kind of follow up to the KIPAC and postdoc retreats from the fall. However, this event is open go anyone in KIPAC, not just postdocs. We want to make space for both people with project ideas with others at KIPAC (e.g. that they talked about during one of the retreats) to get a push to actually work on them and to get people talking to each other to establish new collaborative projects. This will be a full day event. The meeting will begin with a kickoff session 9-11am in PAB 102/103. The rest of the day will be dedicated hack time for people to work together in various room also in PAB. Lunch and an afternoon coffee break will be provided. If you plan to attend, please RSVP by the end of the day Friday , May 24. For questions and to see more detailed schedule information, use the #hack-day channel on the KIPAC Slack team or contact Jessie Muir (jlmuir@stanford.edu).
