The KIPAC-Chile Engagement Program

The KIPAC-Chile Engagement Program, launched through a KIPAC Innovation Grant, gives KIPAC members who travel to Chile access to specialized funds meant to help develop professional and personal connections, and spark new research collaborations with scientists at institutions across Chile.

KIPAC members who are traveling to Chile can add an extra 1-2 day stopover to their existing travel plans to give research talks, sit-in on group meetings, and possibly take a small group of students and faculty out for lunch or dinner. All KIPAC members are invited and encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to visit universities and labs across Chile.
