SPHEREx, NASA's next MIDEX mission, will launch in early 2025. With its all-sky near-infrared spectral imaging survey from 0.75-5um, SPHEREx will address key questions on cosmological, galaxy formation, and the origin of biogenic signatures, with its low-resolution spectroscopic catalog and near-infrared spectral images. In this talk, I will start by an overview the SPHEREx mission, the main science targets of SPHEREx in cosmology and galaxy evolution, and then discuss other potential opportunities with the SPHEREx dataset.
